The Independence Day Activities are the heart of our volunteer efforts to keep Haddonfield as the cradle of "Small Town America". We’ve had bands (including Mummers), veterans, floats, neighborhood groups, and lots of kids parading down King’s Highway for the last 75 years -- kicked off by a spectacular Fireworks extravaganza on July 3rd at dusk. This is what makes Haddonfield so special! Many people think that the Borough of Haddonfield underwrites all the costs of these activities, but they do not. They make a contribution, but this only covers a small portion of the costs. The rest of the costs are underwritten by contributions from the community. Please consider making a donation towards the cost of these celebrations that are provided free to the public.
